Writing Process
is a concept in the teaching of writing and an important research concept in the field of composition.
Usually, the Writing Process is broken up into five sections:
Prewriting- outline, bullet points, brainstorming notes
Drafting- rough draft(s)
Revising- reviewing and beginning stages of editing
Editing- adding, removing, improving words, sentences and structure
Publishing- producing copies
Following the Writing Process can vastly improve a writer's product and make the process of creating a document run smoothly.
